Marcus Rosser

Artist & Technologist

"Engineered from emotion. Printed from imagination."

About Marcus

Marcus Rosser is a New Orleans-based artist and technologist who uses 3D printing as a way to turn imagination into objects and pain into form. Co-founder and co-owner of Rosser NFT Gallery, Rosser builds sculptures at the seam where engineering meets emotion. As a kid, he rebuilt toy cars and sketched machines he couldn't yet make; as an adult, he watched desktop fabrication catch up to that childhood wish, and the studio became his workshop.

After a breakup, Rosser began a series of intimate printed forms, each piece a physical message: apology, gratitude, farewell. That origin still shapes his practice: he designs, prints, and refines objects that feel like prototypes from a future archive, carrying lessons earned the hard way. His process is iterative and hands-on, moving from digital design to finished work through repeated testing, revision, and surface intention.

Rosser's long-term vision is community manufacturing: robots built at home, by the community, for the community, and a Black-owned motorsports team engineered from the ground up. His work invites collectors to hold a moment of transformation: something made to last, because the feeling did.

Artistic Practice

Additive Manufacturing

Using 3D printing technology to create sculptures that bridge the gap between digital design and physical artifact.

Emotional Translation

Transforming feelings into tangible form. Each piece holds a story, a message, a moment preserved in engineered material.

Iterative Refinement

Moving from digital design to finished work through repeated testing, revision, and intentional surface treatment.

Future Vision

Community Manufacturing

Robots built at home, by the community, for the community. Democratizing fabrication and putting the tools of creation in the hands of those who need them most.

Black-Owned Motorsports

Engineering a motorsports team from the ground up. Systems designed by and for the community, proving that innovation knows no boundaries.

For Collectors

Collector's Statement

Marcus Rosser is a New Orleans-based artist and technologist who uses 3D printing to turn emotion into engineered form. Co-founder and co-owner of Rosser NFT Gallery, he approaches sculpture like a builder: iterative design, additive manufacturing, and hand refinement until a piece reads as artifact, not prototype. The work is rooted in a childhood obsession with machines, rebuilding toy cars, dreaming of a day you could print anything from imagination, and catalyzed by a breakup that pushed him to translate grief into objects. His first series functioned like unsent letters: each piece holding a different feeling he couldn't speak out loud. Rosser's long-term vision is community-built robotics and a Black-owned motorsports team, systems designed by and for the community.

Co-Founder of Rosser NFT Gallery

Together with Kiazersylve, Marcus created a space where technology and creativity converge. A New Orleans venue where artists of all mediums can showcase their work.
